The NewSectionID method returns a new section ID for the document of the specified draft.

ODULong NewSectionID (in ODDraft draft);

draft

A reference to the draft in which to reserve a section ID.

return value

An ID that is unique in the specified draft and any subsequent drafts of the same document.

DISCUSSION

The returned section ID is guaranteed to be unique for the lifetime of the specified draft.
